[나의 한마디 My Words 98] 자연은 나의 종교이고 그 경전은 몸수고

Nature is my religion and its scriptures are manual efforts

 

자연은 나의 종교이고 그 경전은 몸수고*(손)이다.

그러다 보니, 나의 사람 구분법은 되게 무식하다.

 

머리와 입으로 사는 이는 D급이다.

자신의 머리가 좋다고 착각하기 쉽다.

 

입과 가슴으로 사는 이는 C급은 된다.

자기 가슴은 따뜻한 편이라고 선전하기 쉽다.

 

입 또는 가슴에다 손을 더하는 이는 B급이다.

떠들긴 해도 할 일은 하는 사람이다.

 

손이 앞서고 가슴이 따라가는 이는 A급이다.

말없이 행하고 베풀 줄도 아는 이들이다.

 

거기에 머리까지 가세하면 특A급이다.

생각까지 하는 현인 수준이다.          -溫草

 

Nature is my religion and its scriptures are manual efforts(hand).

Accordingly, my classification of human levels is far from being chic.

 

Those who live on head and mouth fall into D grade,

as they are easy to delude themselves that they are some smart.

 

Those who live on mouth and heart fall into C grade,

as they are easy to drum up that they usually have warm heart.

 

Those who add hand to mouth or heart are classified as B grade,

as they do what they have to do, while they sometimes coffeehouse.

 

Those whose hands go ahead with the heart followed behind are

certainly A grade, as they silently do what has to be done and

the acts of charity as well.

 

If head is added to that, they are a A+ grader.
